The Redskins and Chiefs were set to kick off in a game ESPN said they would “air after the National Anthem in light of the events in Las Vegas” when the stadium was forced to shutter for 24 hours:
“Our operations director advised us that it would take at least 24 hours to clear the entire stadium after the number of death threats we received over the weekend.
Your first thought may be that patriots called in bomb threats to keep people from kneeling before the National Anthem. You would be wrong. Patriots don’t compromise the safety of others with dangerous hyperbole. These threats were called in by SJW, tree-hugging liberals.
Their problem? The names of the teams playing. The Chiefs and Redskins are yet again the victims of an entire political movement looking to remove the history of our country. According to liberal hero Malcolm Wilkerson:
“We will not continue to allow the Native American people to be displayed as brutish, savage beasts who need to be tamed by the white man and his slaves.”
Yup. Sounds just like a liberal nutjob, doesn’t he? Like the name of a football team that’s been around 120 years is really going to make difference in the money they’ll make from casinos this year. They’re like those football players. They’re lucky society lets them exist at all.
The game will be pushed to 4PM Tuesday and can be seen on ESPN 7.
